We're often called upon to provide special banquet, catering and cocktail services during high-profile events. Some of our proudest moments include:
- Tourisme Québec selected Le George V as the Maison du Québec's official caterer and culinary representative for Quebec at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.
- When NATO leaders and members came to Quebec City in 2009, we provided outstanding service and exceptional support throughout the event. As our "Testimonials" will attest, everyone in the NATO crew saluted our efforts.
- Our banquet and catering service was chosen to oversee all operations for the Espace 400e Bistro located in the Old Port. Our mandate was to provide catering services that did justice to this magnificent space so clients could hold their corporate activities while enjoying Robert Lepage's masterpiece at the Moulin à images theatre. (We served over 12,000 splendid meals in 72 days.)
- We put together a buffet for 500 people on the Plains of Abraham to ensure that Sir Paul McCartney and his entourage enjoyed Quebec City hospitality at its best. It was an incredible event that no one in the city will ever forget.
- We provided catering services for the special meeting Quebec City's mayor organized in honour of our 400th Anniversary. Over 150 VIPs, including mayors from selected American cities, honoured us with their presence at Espaces Dalhousie.
- Le George V orchestrated the closing cocktail ceremony for the 400th Anniversary of Quebec City Celebrations held at the Observatoire de la Capitale for all the organization's VIPs.
- We provided catering services for 250 travel journalists from around the world during a special evening organized for Go Média by Tourisme Québec at Espace 400e.
